Dwarfed (Elved?) by the Landscape
Huldufólk (hidden people) are the elves of Icelandic folklore. While the exact percentage of Icelanders who "believe" in the existence of elves is elusive and even nuanced, elves remain a part of the country's rich cultural heritage. In this image, there are no elves, at least as far as I know; there is only my great friend Jaxon, rendered tiny by this vast landscape between the lake Hvalvatn and the waterfall Glymur.
